We were grateful to have Toronto District School Board instructor Vinolia Futhi Sakakane talk with us after the TRC Toronto Youth Education Day about Jingle Dress – First Dance, youth education, and how the plight of the first nations people relates to her own experiences.

It was a true honour to speak with acclaimed Canadian filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin at the TRC Toronto Youth Event last week.  She had many kind words to say about Jingle Dress – First Dance and hearing her optimism was incredibly inspiring.
